The Champion’s Parade is some days after the Samba Parade. The samba schools that performed the best parade again at the Anhembi Sambadrome.

Champion’s Parade
How does the Champion’s Parade work?
The winning schools from the special and access groups parade along the extensive “avenue”.
8 schools participated in this parade, 3 of them from the access group, in which the winner will participate, next year, in the special group. And 5 special group schools.
In 2022, the winning school of the access group was Estrela do Terceira Milênio, and of the special group it was Mancha Verde.
Samba Schools Parade order
Access group – The night started with the Nenê de Vila Matilde parade, followed by Independente Tricolor, and soon after came Estrela do Terceira Milênio.
Special group – After the access group, the special group parade began with the Mocidade Alegre samba school, followed by Unidos de Vila Maria, Tom Maior, Império da Casa Verde and, finally, the winning school: Mancha Verde.
The parade goes from 9:30 pm to 5 am, all night long.
My experience
I confess that I was afraid to go to the Champion’s Parade and many members of the samba schools weren’t there. However, to my surprise, the schools were complete.
The performance was incredible, the parade was impeccable. Even though it was raining, the schools’ members were very excited.
I didn’t stay long, it was raining a lot, we left after the Estrela do Terceira Milênio parade, which was fantastic.
The experience was very good, I intend to go again next year to watch the show.
My mom and sister also really enjoyed it.
Price – Champion’s Parade
I paid 45 reais (about $5 dollars) for a half price ticket and 90 reais (about $10 dollars) for the normal ticket (both are sector B tickets), right in front of the “avenue”.In my opinion, the price is very affordable, due to the fact that on other days of the samba parade they are much more expensive.
