In my opinion, milkshakes are one of the best desserts in the world. Because, in addition to being very tasty and refreshing, it has many flavors options and combinations.

I’m Matheus Fraga, Rodrigo Schmiegelow’s brother, and I’m going to tell you a little about my experience in Johnny Joy restaurant.

Who am I?

I’m Rodrigo Schmiegelow, an advertiser specializing in Digital Marketing. Today I live as a Digital Nomad (what is it), in other words, that I have geographic freedom and can work from anywhere in the world.

That’s why I can have amazing experiences like this.

I started a trip around the world to get to know places, cultures and regional cuisines. And I will bring great surprises from these experiences.

I’m on the Farofa expedition, getting to know regional cuisines from all over Brazil.

Flavors – Johnny Joy

There are many Milkshake flavors available at Johnny Joy, namely:

  • cookies and cream;
  • ninho com morango (ninho – powdered milk – and strawberries);
  • ninho com Nutella (ninho – powdered milk – and Nutella);
  • Ferrero Rocher;
  • doce de leite com coco (dulce de leche and coconut);
  • frutas vermelhas e Oreo (red fruits and Oreo);
  • Tiramisu;
  • frutas vermelhas (red fruits);
  • pistache com Nutella (pistachio and Nutella);
  • pop Maltine com brigadeiro de ninho (ovomaltine and ninho – powdered milk – brigadeiro);
  • paçoquinha (a Brazilian peanut candy);
  • brigadeiro e paçoquita (brigadeiro and the Brazilian peanut candy);
  • sensação (chocolate and strawberries);
  • milkninho (ninho and milk);
  • Nutella;
  • pistachio;
  • Oreo;
  • amarela trufada (cherries and Nutella);
  • chocomenta (mint and chocolate);
  • brigadeiro;
  • and, finally, torta de limão siciliano (sicilian lemon pie).

The one that surprised me the most was the pistachio with Nutella Milkshake, I would never have imagined this combination, however the taste surprised me, it was really worth it.

Besides that, due to the concentration of the ingredients, the milkshake is very creamy. For that reason, I literally ate the Nutella and pistachio milkshake with a spoon, and it also had a lot of Nutella in the cup that I couldn’t drink with a straw.

The 300ml milkshake costs 17 reais (about $3 dollars) and the 500ml one costs 20 reais (about $4 dollars).

I, personally, don’t think it is expensive for the amount of ingredients they put in, it was worth every penny.
