The first time doing only a day trip in Atibaia

The first time we went to Atibaia, we went without any pretensions, we were bored at home and decided to visit a new city.

We ended up researching and discovering the city of Atibaia and soon went back there.

I already knew a little about the city from a trip I took with some friends.

With my family, we went for a walk near Major Lake, took a water pedal boat and a chair lift, which runs from Wednesday to Sunday and costs 15 reais (a round trip – less than $2).

As I went with my nephew and niece, the biggest fun was getting down on my ass with the cardboard on a hill that is at the Centro de Convenções Victor Brecheret

Pedra Grande (free traduction – big stone)

We found that it had a fantastic park with a breathtaking landscape.

We went to Atibaia two or three more times just to get to know this place, however, due to the pandemic, it was closed.

Another time we went, we arrived very late and couldn’t get in.

After a lot of persistence, we finally got to know Pedra Grande, and we were amazed, it has a magnificent landscape.

Atibaia Garden

Another place that we struggled a lot to get to know.

It’s not quite a tourist spot, but it was a really cool ride too.

It’s a gigantic garden that is located near the entrance to the city, it’s really worth visiting, especially if you like plants.

There are a lot of options for flowers, trees, seeds, everything you can look for related to the plant you can find there.
