Things to do in Foz do Iguaçu

I did my tour in Foz do Iguaçu when I was Traveling by Car to Paraguay. I stayed there for a few days, as accommodation in Foz do Iguaçu was cheaper.

Things to do in Foz do Iguaçu

Three Borders Landmark

Being in the extreme west of Paraná, it is located on the triple border between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.


It is possible to visit the Marco das Três Fronteiras – Three Borders Landmark, where there is a wonderful fountain, dance and typical food.

You can eat at the Cabeza de Vaca restaurant while enjoying a magnificent sunset.

Iguaçu Falls – What to do in Foz do Iguaçu

It is certainly the most famous tour in Foz do Iguaçu.

The Iguaçu Falls are a set of about 275 waterfalls on the Iguaçu River. Being considered one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.

At the falls is located the Porto Canoas restaurant, near the banks of the Iguaçu River, where you can watch the entire spectacle of the falls.

The ticket to visit Iguaçu Falls costs 63 reais for Brazilians (around $13), with the value of transport inside the park included, and you can get more information about tickets and timetables on this website.

Visiting Paraguay and Argentina

Due to its proximity to the border, it is possible to drive to Paraguay and Argentina.

I recommend taking a day to get to know each country, it’s worth it.

Parque das Aves (Bird Park) – What to do in Foz do Iguaçu

Definitely a great itinerary for your trip, the park is beautiful and it was worth every second of my trip there.

Parque das Aves is the only institution in the world focused on the conservation of Atlantic Forest birds.

The park ticket costs 70 reais (approximately $15 dollars).
